Terms of use
Last updated: 4 October 2026
These terms apply to the Findbar app for Wix sites and this website. By installing Findbar on a site, you agree to them on behalf of that site.
The service
Findbar adds a search bar and results page to your site. It indexes your site's public content (visible products, published blog posts, publicly readable CMS items and public pages) so visitors can search it. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be interrupted or unavailable.
Plans and payment
Findbar has a free plan for sites with up to 100 items and a paid Pro plan, currently $9.99 per month or $99 per year, with a 14-day free trial. Paid plans are sold and billed by Wix under Wix's terms; you are only charged if you choose a paid plan there, and you can cancel from your Wix dashboard. If you cancel or the trial ends, your site moves to the free plan. We will announce price changes in advance; they apply from your next billing period.
Your content
You keep all rights to your site's content. You allow Findbar to copy your site's public content into its search index, only to provide search on your site. You are responsible for the content on your site.
Acceptable use
Don't use Findbar to break the law, to attack or overload the service, or to access data that isn't yours. We may suspend the service for a site that does.
Removing Findbar
You can uninstall Findbar from your site at any time. When you do, its search index and all data stored for your site are deleted. We may end the service with at least 30 days' notice; prepaid fees for the unused period are refunded through Wix.
Liability
We aim to keep Findbar available and accurate, but give no guarantee of availability or that search results are complete. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the damage typically foreseeable when you started using Findbar. Mandatory statutory liability is not affected.
Privacy
How we handle data is described in our privacy policy.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; for material changes we will notify you in advance. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
